Study of the Aerobús public transport service

Description

This study analysed the performance of different types of buses, as well as the measures that need to be taken to implement these buses.

First, the different bus models proposed by each of the lines were characterised. This showed all the technical aspects necessary to carry out the analysis and classified them according to different traction technologies.

In the following section, the lines covered by this study were characterised. Aspects such as elevation profile, temperature, etc. were evaluated, as well as the minimum requirements established by the specifications. Next, several simulations of the battery charge status of the buses throughout their service were carried out.

Next, a technical description was made of all the measures that must be taken into account for the installation and operation of a pantograph.

Finally, different contingency plans were designed in case the operation of the line had any unexpected incidents.
