Subventions for electric vehicles

Subventions for electric vehicles: Moves III Plan

The Moves III Plan is equipped with 400 million euros to be divided between the purchase of plug-in and fuel cell vehicles and the installation of charging points for electric vehicles.

What is the Moves Plan?v

The Moves Plan is a programme of the Spanish Ministry for Ecological Transition and the Demographic Challenge that aims to promote the transition to a more sustainable economy and reduce greenhouse gas emissions.

One of the measures included in the Moves Plan is the subsidy for the purchase of electric vehicles, with the aim of promoting the use of these more sustainable vehicles and reducing dependence on oil.

The Moves Plan grant for the purchase of electric vehicles is available to individuals and companies and applies to the purchase of new or second-hand electric vehicles. The amount of the subsidy depends on the type of vehicle and the characteristics of the transaction, and may vary depending on the Autonomous Community in which the purchase is made.

To apply for the Moves Plan subsidy for the purchase of an electric vehicle, it is necessary to meet certain requirements and present the necessary documentation. It is advisable to consult the specific conditions and requirements on the website of the Ministry for Ecological Transition and the Demographic Challenge or on the website of the corresponding Autonomous Community.

The Moves III Plan is coordinated by IDEA, but it is each community that publishes and manages the aid.
