Study of the Aerobús public transport service

Description

AMB is concerned about greenhouse gas emissions and wants to operate the transport service with hybrid and electric buses.

Evectra provided its technical expertise to a bus operator bidding for the new bus service contract. The hybrid bus mode was defined to operate in electric mode for as many kilometres as possible.

Electric mode was prioritised in the centre of Barcelona, where population density is highest.

The bus service was also studied for operation with electric buses.
