Study of the public transport service on the Laurea Miró axis

The study analysed the technical and economic feasibility of introducing buses on each of the public transport lines on the Eje Laurea Miró, with the aim of determining which of these lines are suitable, both technically and economically, for operating with hybrid and/or electric buses and with which recharging system.

Evectra provided its technical expertise to a bus operator bidding for the new bus service contract.

The study first focused on characterising each of the lines and then proceeded with a comparison to determine which bus models were most appropriate for use on each line. The bus service was also studied for operation with electric buses.
